Cool idea but my child lost interest 😕

The Cardston Temple is special to me so I'm glad this set exists. My child usually loves building stuff but this one is maybe too complicated for them. Or maybe they lost interest because they can't play with it afterward. Some of the pieces I just don't get, why make two uneven pieces when one longer piece would look so much better? I also don't understand why the pieces are sorted the way they are. It seems to me like the pieces for steps 1-4 should be in bag 1, and the bags should be labeled clearly (just as an example). I think it's crazy that you have to open all, or several, of the bags at the beginning to complete 1 or 2 steps. It seems random to me and I wish it was more organized. I also think the price is outrageous!
