My son and I loved it. Some of the parts were dirty after opening them. That was the only bad part. I did email the company and I got no response from them. Also the instructions were off color. They didn't match from the box. Other than that I enjoyed the kit.

Hi Arcelia, sorry to hear about this, but glad to hear you enjoyed the kit. Our records show we did respond to your email. I suggest checking spam folder as sometimes the reply emails go to this folder.

My son loved building it and adding furniture to the inside. The bride's arm broke off the first day. Other than that, we love it. Thank you!

The service was great, I am giving this temple to each of my children for Christmas. It is the temple my husband and I were married in.

Dirty Pieces, Cracked Case

I ordered the Oakland Temple Set, as well as the display case. There were pieces to the white temple that were dirty, scuffed, and discolored. The display case has a crack in the top piece. Not very good quality for the price. The protective paper took a very long time to peel off the case. It was very frustrating that the pieces came the way they did. It would be much more consumer-friendly if the bags were numbered, or if at least all the pieces needed for the same page of the build were in the same bag. The instructions in the beginning suggest that you sort them, but I disagree; you NEED to sort them for the build to be enjoyable at all. The final product is very nice to have displayed, which is why I am giving this review 2 stars instead of 1.

Hi Stacey, we will send you out a new protective display case since the one your received has a crack. The protective paper used in the packaging is required to protect the display case and prevent cracking. Without this protective paper they would be impossible to ship.

The Oakland Temple model has close to 1,000 pieces. With a set with this many pieces it requires us to package them in this manner. If we packaged as recommended it would double the size of the box and increase the price significantly. We hope to keep the packaging and price to a minimal. Glad to hear the final product is nice and sorry to hear you did not enjoy the building experience. Thanks for your purchase and support of Brick'Em Young.
