Provo City Center Temple
I have a lot of experience building lego sets and all sorts of Chinese knock offs. This set is more akin to the cheap Chinese knock offs where the pieces don't all fit tightly. I feel like the designer cut corners to save a few pieces here and there. Instead they could have added some more pieces to make a more stable end product. The pieces are hard to put together and make your fingers hurt.
Hi Clint, we would be interested to hear how specifically you feel the design can be improved, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org!
After improvising a bit because of missing pieces my 11 year old son finished it by himself. We have it displayed above a shelving unit in our home office.
The instructions were not descriptive at all and the pieces don’t fit together right. The finished product looks good as long as you don’t look closely at it. We figured we would get a well built product for the price we paid.
My grandson had no trouble. He followed the directions and we had plenty of pieces left over in case something was missing.
A couple of years ago, I purchased the Manti temple and the nativity for 2 of my children's families. They loved them then, so this year we purchased three new temples, and my grandkids were so proud to put together the Provo City Center temple where we used to go for our Grandview stake conferences years ago. Amazing temple in person, and well-constructed kit. Keep them coming! I am excited to eventually purchase Payson Temple kit too since that is our temple and where I serve as an ordinance worker. Merry Christmas!
